The grand event of the new startup community in southern Taiwan, "2023 Meet Greater South", kicked off today (25th). Far EasTone ( 4904-TW ) joined hands with five startup accelerators, including Wondersense, Creative Biotech, Guanjian , Abo Formosa and Taiwan Bee Map, to showcase their achievements in the fields of smart services, smart healthcare, smart cities and more.
Far EasTone Information and Digital Transformation Technology Group Executive Vice President Hu Demin was invited to attend the opening ceremony and served as a keynote speaker on the topic of "Embracing Innovation and Helping Global Enterprises Accelerate Digital Net-Zero Double Transformation."
Hu Demin said that in the new era of generative AI, Far EasTone will deepen its CSE (corporate participation in new start-ups) to create a better future together. In addition to accelerating digital transformation, it will also strengthen ESG-oriented cooperation to jointly protect the earth and move towards sustainable development, while calling on start-ups to jointly seize new economic business opportunities.
He pointed out that facing the four most difficult problems faced by start-up teams, including high customer acquisition costs, difficulty in obtaining corporate cooperation opportunities, the need for high-quality capital injection, and lack of technical support, Far EasTone has taken appropriate measures one by one. In addition to relying on more than 7 million users, a professional corporate service team to provide rich business resources, and the general manager serving as a guiding consultant to assist in strategic investment evaluation, it will enable innovative ideas to be implemented and become a scalable business model.
Hu Demin shared that Far EasTone Startup Accelerator fully supports startups to explore business models and jointly seize new economic opportunities. It not only assisted 12 first-phase partners to create digital transformation cases, but also created potential business opportunities of over NT$100 million. In addition, Far EasTone's "Heart Life" and "Big Man" technologies will be shared with startups, and the scope of recruitment will be expanded to include ESG net zero, social innovation and other global issues of concern, to help the government build Taiwan into an international startup paradise.
